Welcome to Leadership Action
Monday, September 22nd, 2008Hello and welcome to Leadership Action. This is Greg Krieser coming to you from Omaha Nebraska. Here at Leadership Action we will be discussing leadership principles and applications. Interviews will be conducted on a regular basis with leaders in the area, as well as across the US. We’ll be discussing what leadership means to them, along with times and ways in which they have seen leadership in action. Here are more questions we will have for them: how they stay up to date on their leadership skills; who mentors them; who do they mentor. The concept behind the site is to show that leadership and leaders are all around us (at work, at school, in organizations, etc.). Some think of leaders as “at the top” and distant from where they are today. Perhaps you feel these leaders are removed enough that you can not relate to them. Leadership Action is intended to show that we have leaders all around us. We have much to learn from them and they are typically anxious to teach. We hope to motivate you to become a better leader through the inspiration and practical ideas shared by other leaders on this site.
Podcasts will accompany the interviews. In addition to making them available here at Leadership-Action.com you will also find them on iTunes. Just search for Leadership Action.
